That'll do, Donkey. That'll do... - North Texas Photography
As you may, or may not know - my parent's own a miniature donkey farm in Callisburg, Texas - Grasshopper Hill Miniature Donkey's. I've photographed their donkey's ever since they got their very first one several years ago. While we were there for Memorial Day, my Mom asked me to get some shots they could use on their website so I roamed around with my camera and got tons of shots. I spent the day today editing them. Here's a peek of what I came up with - you can find the full gallery on Facebook or MySpace.

Hippity Hoppity Bunny Day! - Cooke County Family Photographer
My daughter is lucky enough to have both sides of her family that want to spend the day with her so we were treated to two different Easter celebrations this year. She got to have two egg hunts and just thought she was the luckiest little girl to find so many eggs filled with goodies. I took over 400 photos and thought I'd share a few with you here! So here's some shots of Easter with my family, enjoy!

Flowers from my in-law's beautiful backyard.

The Ugly Doll "Bunny" I got for my daughter, which I have now basically claimed as my own because she says it's "Too old." Anyways, I had to have a mini photo shoot with him because he's too cute!

My daughter Zoey and her cousin Olivia checking out their goodies.

Zoey and her cousin Lexi on my parents rustic farm.

My beautiful niece Lexi being kind enough to stop and pose while egg hunting! =)

This wacky little hen wound up being very photogenic!

Kite flying was super fun for all!

My daughter is so lucky to have such a picturesque place to have Easter egg hunts!

Something else that photographs well, the rusty "junk" around my parents farm. Love it!
I hope your Easter was as good as mine! See you next time with more, Captured by Jess

Daisy
My parents got my daughter and my niece a new puppy and Zoey is just smitten with her! I have to admit, she is pretty darn cute - but i am glad she lives with the Grandparents and not with me!

Frank Buck Zoo Visit
My husband and I decided that this year we were going to buy a season pass to the local Zoo because of our daughter's love for animals and because it is one of the only places to take kids in the small town we live in! Our first trip there on the 3rd of January yielded some photos that I am pretty proud of, so I thought I would share them with you here! I know there are several, but trust me, this IS an edited down list!

< :: The Flamingos were being very photogenic! :: >

< :: Zoey trying to make a run for it! :: >

< :: It was cold out so the Zoo was quite serene! :: >

:: We tried to find an Exhibit for Zoey to stay in! ::

< :: The over-head walkway makes a great back-drop for little ones! :: >

I am so grateful for all the photogenic animals at the Zoo! Since we do have a season pass I am sure you'll be seeing their little faces in my blog again! For more photos, check out the animal gallery on my facebook site!
