Notes on Wedding Sessions

Here's a more in-depth look at the various photography sessions you might want to think about for your Wedding. Note: I do not have to be your wedding day photographer to schedule one of the other sessions with me! I'd be happy to shoot your special event in any capacity!


{ Bridal Portraits }
Bridal Portraits are formal photographs of the Bride in her gown (usually with full make-up and hair as well), taken a few days or weeks before the wedding. We can do whatever theme you desire western, modern, urban, garden - whatever you envision for yourself! Props can include anything and everything from a horse to a bouquet to an umbrella to cowgirl boots! If you want to take your Bridal portraits AFTER your wedding day, no problem!

{ Engagement Session }
Typically your engagement photos are the first professional photos you and your sweetie will have ever taken together and of course, you want them to be perfectly personalized to the two of you. We can shoot at a location that has meaning to you as a couple or where ever you want! The possibilities are endless and be sure to tell me EXACTLY what you are looking for, I want you to have all the portraits your heart desires! If you already have children, they are more than welcome to be included in the session as well! Your photos can be used in so many ways- save-the-dates, newspaper announcements, wall art in your home, gifts, on a table at your ceremony/reception, etc.

{ Day-After Wedding Session }
This is a brand new trend in Wedding Photography that allows you to get totally awesome, stress free photos of you and your new spouse. Instead of wasting time on your wedding day posing for all those extra shots of the two of you, or rushing through it and not getting want you really wanted -- you get to put your dress back on and get another day's use out of it! The sky is the limit with day-after sessions, the bride can wear EXACTLY what she wore down to the earrings and hair OR she can funk it up a bit with a more casual hairstyle and chunkier jewelry! What about the Groom? If you choose to literally do it the next day, the Groom will still have his rental tux more than likely. He can also wear a nice suit or even nice jeans with a blazer or crisp button-down. (All of the options look great, trust me!) You can schedule this session at ANY time after your wedding. The next day, a week later, two months later. Unlimited location options, unlimited possibilities. Already have children? They can be included in the session as well!

{ Ceremony Only }
Not having a huge lavish affair but you still want your wedding shot by a professional? With this option your entire ceremony will be shot from start to finish from the flower girl to your walk back up the aisle as husband and wife. You also get about 30 to 45 minutes worth of time for posed shots of the bride and groom as well as shots with family and the wedding party.

Complete Ceremony Coverage & Posed Shots

{ Ceremony and Reception }
All day coverage, from start to finish - from getting dressed to reception exit. I want to make sure that your special day is fully caught on camera from beginning to end. That means everything: make-up, hair, pre-wedding jitters, down the aisle, up the aisle, posed group shots, posed individual shots, guests, first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss and don't forget all the little details! We can discuss before hand what shots are the *MOST* important to you and I will go in with that list in my camera bag. Included in this package is a bonus session which is your choice of Bridal Portraits, Engagement Photos, Day-After Session or a Family Portrait Session.
